The Rogers house is of late Victorian style and is recognized by the Florida Dept of History and Archives for its architectural detail. Note the projecting bay windows, a polygonal turret topped by a flattened bell-shaped cupola, and porch surrounding two sides that is supported by Doric columns on brick piers. Mr Rogers owned a grocery, grain and seed company. He was instrumental in organizing the Suwanee Tobacco Warehouse community project.
