Next was a planned stop in Sioux City Iowa at the Sgt Floyd Memorial and the Lewis + Clark Visitor center for stamps...
Along the way, we ran across a rather serious wreck involving a pick up truck and a trailer that left the roadway, and clearly overturned several times out in a field- also saw an ambulance rushing to the scene.
A bit later, we smashed into a hapless blackbird, and smushed it.
Got to the Sgt Floyd center and the Lewis and Clark IC in good order, and got my stamps plus a couple of pins
Then, a quick dash on down to the Super 8 at Omaha, arrived about 315, but had to wait a few minutes for the room.
Tomorrow is a short run, over to St Joe's Missouri, and then on down to Kansas City Missouri, and then a ball game
