September 19th Reunion with Jimmy-

Went to Mid Carolina last night an tailgated with the Meade bunch, had a very tasty meal, then watched the first half of the football game-  Mid Carolina was leading 34-0 at the half, and that also was the final score.  Dante was hurt, but was on the sideline cheering his mates on.

This morning, we went to McDonalds for breakfast, then to Verizon to work on their billing error, which we believe we have fixed, then resting.  

At 3 pm, I'm heading over to Newberry College to reunite with Jimmie Coggins in the broadcast booth for a Newberry vs North Greenville College football game- hadn't been in the booth since I think 2004- but I guess it's like riding a bike.  

Hopefully, they have upgraded the stats application for us, so I won't have to keep track of too much manually-  

The game should be over by 7 ish- tomorrow, we head down I-26, then I-95 on back 360 miles or so down to St Augustine and home!  

September 17th Final day at Greenwood-

In the last couple of days, we went up to Lander campus, to a community involvement display, and scored some free stuff-  went to lunch twice, at McAllister's- yesterday with Coop and Brandon, today with Bev and Dave.  

Picked out a suit to wear to the March wedding in Dallas-  

Went to Mr Lube and had the Honda's oil changed and tires aired up.  

Will meet up with Sheriff Foster and the old NCSO crew tomorrow for Mexican lunch-  

Friday night lights down at Mid Carolina . Grandson Dante has been hurt, and will be out for 4 games-  so we'll just tailgate-  

Saturday is the Newberry College football game with Jimmy Coggins up in the booth.  

Sunday, we finally make our way home!

September 15th Vegging out in Greenwood

Basically taking it easy for a couple of days- Been on the Lander campus taking care of chores for a couple of days-  Will rest up next two days-  then we head to Newberry for two days, so I can go down to see Megan's family, and revisit with Jimmy Coggins for a Newberry College football game.  Sunday, we'll head on down to St Augustine!

September 13th Pretty weather today

Got lots of Lander stuff to grade today, then at 1045,we're headed to Lander for Brunch with Dave and Bev and Tina and maybe Tony. Tomorrow, up to Lander campus, and a haircut.

September 12th In at Saddle Hill.

Left Elkin at 0650 this morning, It was 216 miles, planned 4 hours, actually took 5, arriving about 1150.  

Stopped at a Love's for coffee and breakfast, and when we fueled up in Greenwood, the Fit was stone dead. Think it was because Bette left the lights on.  No worries, Tina came and rescued us.  
Got to see Cooper before he headed down to Columbia for the Gamecock Football game.  Clemson plays App State soon, and then Carolina is hosting Kentucky tonight.
