July 18th Running around chores

Busy day so far-  Chores in the am, to bank for notarization of some forms, and wrappers for our change, check, then Wal Mart for Bette's meds, check, then I had an MRI done, which wasn't too bad, took a while, but I didn't have to go all the way in a narrow tube- then Bette made a run, then home for lunch, and catching up stuff.

July 17th Another scorcher!

Got these from Facebook about the saunter on Sat evening:

Had Dr. Raymaker this am about my back, need an MRI tomorrow at 1015 on my back. 
Bette went in to and had some meds adjusted. Then to the radio installer to see about the Sirrus Radio, he had the part I needed.   Then down to DMV to have address changes, then the bank for cash, then to see Robbie about Motor Home stuff at Ocean Grove, then to lunch in Hastings with Dan and Kippy.  Back home, tried to get the Sirrus Radio turned on, spent 15 minutes on the phone with a non English speaking agent and they tried to charge me, so I hung up on them.  Will try later with a supervisor. 

Packing some this afternoon, MRI tomorrow, and other chores. 

July 16th Early Fort day....

Had lightning in the area, so our last cannon shot of the day was cancelled.  Busy and hot day at the fort.  Bette did some packing while I was gone, resting tonight and watching the Sox/Yankees.

Tomorrow is Dr Raymaker visits for general soreness and leg pains, then some running around to do with regard to moving, then a wal mart stop for medicine. 

July 15th

Catch up day-  Liar's club this am, Bette went to Wal Mart, packed a few things, and I have a program downtown, called a saunter at about 4 pm or so. 

Movers verified 0830 arrival on Sat am 22nd, and we made a reservation for a Georgia Hotel for Sat Night, then to Greenwood Sun the 23rd.  Then in Greenwood until Bette is happy. 

July 14th Back at the Fort!

Friday, back at the Fort for a long day.  Few things changed around, fell right into the old routine.  Everyone glad to see me back!  There is a saunter downtown tomorrow, in full dress uniform.  Supposed to be hotter tomorrow!  Then do a Sunday Shift at the Fort as well.  Monday is Doctor day- 

Heard from the movers back, they will definitely be here 0830 Sat the 22nd.  Maybe 1 full day to load, then we would head up to SC on Sunday the 23rd.  They will arrive on the 24th, and we will devote as long as it takes to unpacking and settling in.  Lots of tubs and containers to move!

Liar's club first , then haircut, then bank, then oil change, then stopped at the Fort, then back home to talk to a mover and do a walk through, lunch, then visits with locals and then our former PT tech came by to be talked into taking most of Bette's glass stuff- Yay! then out to Jim's place for dinner-  oh, and we settled today on a place for St Augustine for the winter- St John's RV park, up at the flea market.  Got a nice spot, they are all inclusive full hook up, which includes cable and wifi.  Glad to get that off the list.  We reserved from Oct 15th to April 15th.

Tomorrow is more mover appts, and some chores to do phone wise, liar's club, and packing and whatever else comes up.

July 10th On in to Coquina Crossing....

355 miles today, left early 0615, got here after a stop or two at 1210. 

Came home to this!

Unpacked the car, then did several chores, went to bank to verify/close loan, transferred money to our home bank, Bette stopped in at the blood lab to donate, then to Wal Mart to provision the empty house.  Resting now, will pack more tonight.  Lots to do tomorrow and the rest of the week.
