January 29th Massive catch up!

No excuse, had the house painted, several Doctor appointments- and started a week of classes at Lander.

Since I last posted took three days to get the house and apartment painted-and one day for furniture placement.  Saw several Doctors, with good reports from all of them- got a colonoscopy scheduled for February 14th. Bette had her 76th birthday- went to the movies with Tina and saw Glass- the one guy should get an academy award for best actor- he did several different personalities.  As one of the trio of madmen.  Started my Lander tutoring at the library- very happy with the student I have- actually sisters- and it will be low stress.  Bette goes in Thursday at 0530 for her shoulder replacement.  Lander classes are going pretty well.  I have a couple of Chinese students that don't understand Blackboard very well.  Went shopping to Wal Mart- and Lowes where we bought an electric fireplace- it's been cold as hell recently- and the worst of it is yet to come- also bought a king size adjustable bed and had it delivered- also put the baseball rack back up- and I'm loosing a bag of goodies I had.  Went to Newberry and had lunch with Meagan and Shawn and Elias- Brandon unfortunately had a wreck with the Mustang- Pretty much totaled the car- Tina bought him a used Toyota from next door and will give him her Toyota-  lots going on! Tony cooked steaks for Sunday dinner last Sunday and Brandon and Lauren came over.  

  Will try to keep more caught up.  My bad.

January 14th and 15th Catching up...

January 14 and 15:

Started my Lander classes back Monday I had 101 and today I had a few not show up for class, I emailed them.  Classes went nicely.  Hopefully we can team up 343 quickly, se we don't have to stay this past week.  I sat down and chatted with Dr. Stevenson, who used to be my Department Head- and he suggested I talk with Professor Hester about coming on close to full time.  
January 13- Forgot to mention that Bette and I bought a full sized adjustable king bed for us.   It us to be delivered the 20th, and we will give our existing king to Tina and Tony, and they will give theirs to Copper.  Win / Win!  

Sunday, Tina and I went to see the movie The Upside- which was hilariously funny.  

Other than that, we went shopping a couple of times- and I went to the eye doctor.  Did well.

January 8 and 9 Dr visits both days!

January 8th- today I went to the neurologist for an MRA test- which is sort of an MRI- they had a short tube, put a mask on my face, and didn't have earphones, just earplugs and pads to help with the noise, which it was very noisy!  Think I passed the test, only took 10 minutes.

January 9th- Today was optometrist day with Dr. Austin.  Whom I had when I lived in Greenwood before.  We both went, me for a regular eye exam, which I passed, and Bette for tear duct plugs to be installed, which she only had two done.  

Then Bette headed to Wal Mart.  

Then we will rest for the day.

Bette drove Home all night from New Jersey, arriving at 1130 on the 3rd.

Jan 4th -
Had my carotid test today, and passed with flying colors.

January 5th  
Didn't do much today- primarily rested. 

January 6th  Watched the Eagles game today- Also got the driving record for the week.

Note 1286 miles for the week- Primarily Bette coming back from Jersey.

Jan 1st Happy New Year!

Just a so-so month for plates- didn't really do a lot of Interstate travel- thanks to Bette and Tracy for sending me several from their trip to NJ.
