September 29th Big rain overnight Drs tomorrow

Big storm overnight, but hot and humid today- 

Have blood work tomorrow and then a 930 with the RA Doc.  Then, over to the Fort so I can do my new specialty at the supply room. 

I got Andy to come over and help me finish the new bookcase installation for the toy boat collection-  photos later. 

September 28th 1 new plate, new routine at the Fort

Kind of crapped out most of the weekend, taking it very easy.  Saw 1 new plate:

 

Worked at the Fort today, and had a new assignment, being the volunteer for the newly built supply room-  lots of interpretation and visitor interaction- enjoyed it-  but hot and sticky in the room! 

 

Added some stops for the baseball trip-  verified that there is a game with the West Virginia Power in Charleston WVA the first night out.   



September 24th Routines again

Rained pretty good the last day or so- 

Took the Fit to B & B to have the Blue Ox refitted-  then to breakfast with Andy and Lew.

September 21st Leftovers from the trip-

I mentioned that Saturday, I was able to join my old broadcasting buddy Jimmie Coggins in the booth for a game, which Newberry won handily 31-6.  Great treat to be with him again.  

On the previous night, We we joined the Meade family and assorted others for a tailgate and the Mid Carolina Pelion game, which MC won 34-0.  Must have been good luck this weekend!
We were so proud of how pretty Deanna looked, and how self confident she is!

Today, headed up to reunite with my morning coffee buddies, good to see all of them-  and then headed down to the Castillo de San Marcos to volunteer as I do-  Busy there today as well!

Sunday September 20th Back home to Coquina

Had a terrific game/win at Newberry, We beat N. Greenville Univ. 31-6. 
Came back to the coach, went to Mig's to eat, then crashed-  As is our custom it seems on the last day, we got up and underway at 0315- 366 miles down I-26 and I-95 breezed on down with just 2 coffee stops, and arrived home by 0950.

Unloaded, wore ourselves out, showered, had lunch and spent most of the afternoon arranging, rearranging, putting away, and setting up housekeeping again.

Great to be home! 

Ate supper with Bette's pal Joan, who returned the golf cart she watched out after for us this summer and then dropped over to see Lew and MaryBeth for a minute to catch up.

Probably head over to coffee group tomorrow, then will try to do a stint at Castillo de San Marcos to get back into that routine.  Also went up and hit the hot tub tonight.

House seems in good order, lawns need cutting really bad, but they say it has been too wet. 

Did lots of Lander stuff today as well.
