Aug 1 While in DC, we did Ford's Theater, at least

Original plans were to do Ford's Theater, the Holocaust Museum, and then the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington- those were on Cooper's list.

We drove in, found parking (21.00!) at Ford's Theater, and did the whole tour, with the exception of going across the street to the Peterson House-  the line was about 300 people.  Very interesting tour, I had not done that before-   Learned about the story of the Assassination from a very able docent.   Glad we went.

We tried desperately to find parking near the Holocaust Museum, no luck- by then it was raining pretty well, so we also didn't do the Changing of the Guard at the TOS.  1 out of 3 wasn't bad-

The theater, just before the docent began her talk-  the Presidential box is in the upper right.  Wow, right there~
