Fun Bluegrass Concert and Bingo

Thursday, I went south of Palatka for the bi-annual Boys Ranch Bluegrass Festival with the Andersons.  Nice comfortable venue, and we spent 7 hours listening to five different groups plus a food break.  About a thousand folks there, they usually get 5 to 10 thousand on the weekend, the Andersons said.  

 

The headliners today were Rhonda Vincent and The Rage- they had been to the Newberry Opera House before- and they were good.  There were some other "name" acts from the Bluegrass field.   Lots of high tenor wailing, and some very very good musicians!

Friday night, went to Bingo, had a full table for our gang, but not many else there.  I won 1 game for $10.00.  Net loss for the  night was $6.00
