We are racing back to Carolina.
Just a brief post today, since we drove most of the day, and I have Lander work to do.
Got up early, left at 0830, went over to Colonial National Park, at Yorktown, getting there just as it opened, and got my stamps, then I went over to Jamestown, which is an affiliate of NPS, and got stamps there at two locations.
Then, back to the coach at Williamsburg Outdoor World, and we then drove about 75 miles or so down to Nags Head, NC, where I did revisits for the Wright Brothers, and got to 3 previously unvisited sites for Cape Hatteras NS, and then I went back, hooked up, and we got over to Ft Raleigh in Manteo- first visit there.
Then about a three hour plus drive to where we are now, Morehead City, NC. Whew!!!
Tomorrow, I will run over and get Cape Lookout, then we will saddle up and head over to Moore's Creek Battlefield near Wilmington, then start over to Camden and Greenwood-
Racing!!!!
