We continued the get to Greenwood marathon yesterday-
We got up early at Morehead City, and went over to Cape Lookout National Seashore- about a 20 minute drive, very nice Visitor Center, passed on taking a boat over to the Light House itself- got 3 stamps.
Got back to the coach by 10- then ran about 90 miles down to Currie North Carolina, which is home to Moore's Creek National Battlefield, which was a Revolutionary War site- Got 4 stamps there, 3 site stamps and one for Gullah-Geechie Heritage Corridor.
Then, another 150 or so miles on over to Camden, SC, where I got the stamp after 2 tries for the Camden Revolutionary War Site-
then we pulled into Saddle Hill right at 6 pm.
Boys were glad to see us- and we hooked up and noticed a failure light on the inverter control panel- and have no power on the left side of the coach. I called Monaco, and we went through some field tests, and he thinks it may be an inverter problem- which we just had replaced in February- I am seriously beginning to think we have some major electrical problems with this coach- anyway, we couldn't get it to reset- so now, we are thinking of leaving Greenwood earlier and just going to Alliance and staying until it gets totally fixed.
It took us a while to unload the coach and set up the apartment, find stuff that had been put away, hook up the tv's. etc etc. and settle in a bit. The boys and Tina and us went out to Migs for a nice dinner, and then I came home and worked on Lander stuff until almost midnight, since today was the first day of an assignment being due, and I had lots of submissions to grade.
Today, we'll be off to get a haircut, for one thing, then hoping to rest up and catch up with Lander stuff, and then we'll have some things to do for the rest of the week-
