From there, they kept adding things, and we got to see a circus museum exhibit, which had over a hundred carosel animals, and a collection of Circus posters and artifacts, including a collection of a circus parade that had to have been worth over a million dollars....
There was a round barn, which had a display of ancient snowmobiles, from the earliest days, up to the 60's, and modern ones:
There was a 200 plus foot passenger ship the Ticonderoga, that used to sail the lake, it was in marvelous shape for being a 1906 vessel:
It took them 65 days to move the boat 2 miles inland from the lake to this spot-
There was also a lighthouse that they also moved in to the museum:
Cooper climbed up to the top here!
They also had a train station, and an old steam train, with a private car that was super luxurious:
As I said, we still only got to about a quarter of the museum! Got a pin for the visit. Then, we stopped in downtown Burlington- they have fixed downtown up into a pedestrian shopping mall, no cars, and lots of nice shops, and a big downtown mall with a Macy's etc. We spent about an hour walking the street there.
Got back to the coach about 5 or so, and settled in to a rain shower that lasted a lot of the night- We have an 0800 appt at the repair shop in the morning
