Brandon and I had a completely frustrating trip last night, we drove about 30 miles into Omaha to try to watch the Storm Chasers Baseball game.. We had verbal directions and a map from the lady at the office here, well, no luck. The GPS had no idea where the stadium was, and the webpage was very vague as to directions... We stopped at a gas station, and were directed to the new Ameritrade Park downtown, 12 miles back from where we were.... Found that, barely got a parking space, and went to the ticket booth only to find out that Jason Alldean the country singer was doing a concert that night... which would explain why there were hundreds of good looking cowgirls with short pants and boots walking around.... Geez!
We blew off that attempt and drove back to Yutan. Wasted about 3 hours and almost 100 miles on that adventure....
Today, Brandon and I are riding down to Beatrice Nebraska, to the Homestead National Monument, then back through Lincoln to see Univ of Nebraska stuff and get to the Lincoln Salt Dogs baseball game.
Tomorrow, we're going to catch some sites in Omaha and Council Bluffs, then get to a Omaha Storm Chasers baseball game, if we can find the stupid stadium.
Still having problems with the 30 amp here...... and its almost 100 degrees out.
