Brandon and us slept in this morning, and then about noon, Brandon and I headed 90 miles down the road for a visit to Homestead National Monument, in Beatrice, Neb. Really nice education center. Saw a terrific movie...
Then, we headed back to Lincoln, Nebraska, and had an appetizer at Applebee's, then went to the Beautiful stadium for the Lincoln Salt Dogs, an Independent team with the American Association. The Salt Dogs tied the game in the bottom of the ninth with 2 home runs, but wound up losing 5-3 in the 11th inning.
Tomorrow, we're going to head into Omaha and Council Bluffs for a visit to a Trails Center, and Rosenblatt Stadium, and then go to a baseball game with the Triple A Omaha Storm Chasers. It was 102 degrees around here today, may be a scorcher tomorrow.....
