Saturday, May 21- Flea Marketing, Antiquing, Major Trip Change, and Sadness..

Woke up to clearing skies somewhat, and the promise of warmer weather for the first time in a week and a half or so..  sure enough it's about 65 as I type this at 155 pm. 

We went down to the big flea market at Colorado Springs, which was smaller than usual due to the cooler weather they said, but still found a couple of things as we always do- best buy, a new little old ladies laundry cart that we had been on the lookout for for only 2 dollars!!!!  We can now become bag men and women....

We then went to a huge antique set up also in Colorado Springs, almost bought a very unique basket, but passed on it....  spent a good hour rambling though...

Then we went to downtown Monument, which wasn't such a big deal, then came on home.

I'll talk about the trip change in another post... 

The sadness part came from a Facebook notification that late last night, two young men that I had taught at Ware Shoals High School were tragically killed in a motorcycle accident near Ware Shoals.  Avery Carnell was 21, and Justin Wells was just 19.  I hate it for the families and the Ware Shoals Community. 

RIP men.
