More Headgate Lock Shots

 Here is the actual visitor's center, which is down the hill from the parking lot- it was formerly the lockkeepers house, built around 1800.
 A view of the river, with a drop off-  you can see several large trees that have floated down the river. 
Here are some additonal shots from our visit today to the Headlands locks at Martinez Georgia, part of the Augusta Canal Heritage Area.  The boys had a good time rambling around, and I took lots of shots.
