Also here in Batesville is the corporate headquarters of the Hill-Rom company, which is also a division of Hillenbrand. These folks make hospital beds, primarily, and they also have a nice headquarters building and manufacturing plants also. Website says they employ about 2300 people here in town. This is also a world-wide operation. Stryker is their big competetion. They have a visitor center here, but since it's Sunday, we'll have to take a pass.
