Grandparent's day with the Coop Man

I had the high privilege this morning of joining my youngest grandson, Cooper at grandparents day this morning at his school. We watched a presentation video first, then we got to go to his room, where he got to interview his pop-pop for class. We talked with his teacher, who had some very nice things to say about Cooper. He had been worried since he has already missed about a week of school so far this year with his bad respiratory infection, but the teacher said they were just doing review work pretty much, so he won't be too far behind. She also said his reading was improving a great deal, which we were glad to hear, since we had worked with him on that this summer while we were on our vacation together. We are proud of Cooper and how hard he works at school, to do well. Keep it up, big man!
Sadly, we will be making our way over to Newberry this afternoon to go to the viewing for Ms Linda Bedenbaugh, who passed yesterday. We're headed out now to do chores and then lunch, and will head over to Newberry around 5 or so. Our thoughts are with Mike and Boyd Bedenbaugh, Mr David, and the grandchildren.
