Wound up doing 17,692 steps for the day, 7.2 miles.
Took a wrong subway, corrected that, but walked the wrong way twice, for several blocks.
Did Castle Clinton, Trinity Church Burial Ground, Theodore Roosevelt Birthplace, and then Columbia Univ bookstore, got lost trying to walk up to Gen Grant memorial, then decided to take the subway back and catch the subway and an earlier train home. Got the 214 home, and arrived at 338.
Here's some random shots of the day:
The famous new statue of the little girl staring down the bull on Wall Street.
2 new pins for the day....
At Trinity Church on Lower Broadway:
Robert Fulton gravesite
Alexander Hamilton gravesite and memorial
A wonderful building downtown on the way to the Roosevelt Birthplace near the flatiron building:
I managed to get the Stonewall stamp at Castle Clinton.
Today, I'm driving over to Philadelphia to the Independence NP.
