September 16th Last day in New Jersey!

Today I cut short-  here was the original plan:

Had thought I would do Atlantic City-  had as a goal to do the Absecon lighthouse, which I did, but had to run back, since I misjudged the opening time (11am).  Got the stamp and a pin.

I had thoughts of doing some of the sites in Atlantic City, but was totally turned off by the city-  it was well, unclean.  lots of street people, bums, really.  So I bagged those stops, and headed down to Lucy the wooden elephant in Margate, down Atlantic Blvd.  Pretty Cool.

Then stopped at the Acme got some provisions, and papers, then called it a day at noon. 

Tomorrow is a challenging day, we head to the Cape May Lewes Ferry early on, then a 90 minute trip.  Then down the Delaware Peninsula through the Chesapeake Bay Bridge, then on down to Williamsburg Va Thousand Trails.
