Our first objective was to do a test drive to the Cape May Ferry to make sure we got there ok for our Sat am voyage. Check.
Then, down to the shore to see the remains of an old concrete ship: which had run aground..
Also, a marker to an Ensign that was killed when his plane crashed, on maneuvers from the Wildwood Air Station.
Next plan was to visit the WW II observation tower, but it was closed!
Then the Cape May Lighthouse, were we got a stamp....
Then we stopped downtown, and got a t-shirt on sale:
Then, we stopped by Stone Harbor where Bette's dad volunteered back in the 60's-80's.
Last stop for the run was the old Lifesaving Station, but it was closed, so no stamp. Did see a Nat Register plaque, so I will get credit for that.
Then, we took Buster to the Vet at 315 in the afternoon. Had to see about his ear, that was a $232.00 visit! Hope he will do better. Nice Vet.
