Friday September 9th To Gateway Sandy Hook, Twin Lights and Sea Girt light.

Terrible hot, humid night last night- 80 degrees most of the night, felt like 85 very humid.  Next time we come, we have to bite the bullet and stay in a campground/motel. 

Today was a leisurely trip up to Gateway National Park, on the Jersey shore,  revisit there, got some stamps I was missing, then, down to Twin Lights (Navesink) State Park, which I had never been to, got a stamp and pin there- then down to Monmouth University in Monmouth, then down to the Sea Girt Lighthouse, but it was not open, so missed my stamp and pin. 
Got Sabatini a Monmouth University Bowling T Shirt, since they didn't have any XL baseball shirts, then back to the camper by 125 or so.  Great fun day- tomorrow is New York City.
