June 8th In Chicago

Long full day today, up at 0730- then drive in heavy traffic downtown to Park at the Navy Pier- then decided to buy Trolley Passes, and ride the double decker busses around town.

Also bought the City Pass Option, which allowed to visit up to 5 places, and we got to 4 of them.

First stop was the 360 Building, formerly the John Hancock building-  We headed up to the Observation floor, and the boys opted for the Tilt option, which tilted them out at about 40 degrees over 94 floors up!

Next stop was the Shedd Aquarium, and the Adler Planetarium-  both were very interesting, too much to see in the time we allotted-

The Adler Saw 2 presentations here.

Then, we rode the double decker all the way back to the Willis Tower, so the boys could do the observation deck there, which is 103 stories up.

Here are some random shots from our visit today:

We didn't get to the Field Museum, so Brandon and I will get to that tomorrow morning.
Depending on what time we get up and on the road, we will do the Field in the morning, I would also like to hit 3 locations for National Park stamps, then we will pick Cooper up and head to our ballgame with the White Sox vs Nationals......

Then Friday morning, a long drive up to Minneapolis.
