July 6th Down to Southwest Harbor and a few other stops.

Started out with a modest list of to dos today, get a lighthouse stamp, check, a missing National Park Acadia Stamp, check, The Hinkley Boat company, a major sailing shop, and a couple of museums, they were closed.

The day started off well enough, it was a perfect day actually-

Headed over towards Southwest Harbor stopped there to get a Bass Head Harbor Lighthouse stamp-  then walked around town a bit, and learned that it is here where I catch the boat to Islesford to get my last missing stamp for Acadia.

Then, on down to Seawall Campground to get another missing Acadia Stamp-  then a stop back at Wal Mart in Ellsworth to get some victuals- then back to the coach so Bette can go do laundry.

Saw these plates today-

On a side note, I've changed over to Windows 10, and am having some issues adjusting to the new set up-  I'll increase my learning curve.

Here are some general today shots:

Carryover from yesterday- nasty looking clouds, but we didn't get much rain

Pretty motorsailer on the sound

Bass Head Harbor Light- a revisit-

The sound the light protects

Couldn't get down to the rocks to get a better shot.

A working lobster boat on the way back in to port.
