Up early at Camp Wal Mart, then 121 miles or so over to our current spot at Mountain View Campground in Sullivan Maine, about 13 miles from Ellsworth, with handy access to everything we want to visit in the area.
Arrival weather was typical Maine, as I have said so many times before, "Our idea of a summer day is 73 degrees on the Coast of Maine!" Perfect!!!!
We are in space "A", full hook up, good tv, good wifi- paid up until August 11th, (free seventh night) then over to Camp Wal Mart in Ellsworth for a night.
Think I may run over to Acadia today and snag a couple of missing stamps from Cadillac Mountain I'm missing, then daily activities planned, including lighthouse cruises, a trip to Islesford Museum in Acadia NP, and trip over to Blue Hill, Castine, and Bucksport. Then we're off to Lubec.
Did wind up running down to Acadia, and stopped at Cadillac Mountain for a missing stamp- now have 13/16.
It was a perfect day to visit- 75 degrees, and 50 mile views in every direction. Wow!
