I got a call early on that the lighthouse cruise was on for today, even though the weather was a bit threatening- I stopped off at the Maine Lighthouse Museum in Rockport on the way down, and got the stamp for that location...
Then, on down to Port Clyde, and boarded the boat for an 1130 cruise.
We got to four lights, and I got 4 stamps there.
One was Franklin Island:
Another was the Marshall Point Light, which is forever known as the Forrest Gump light, as they filmed there in October of 1993:
Also, the Tenants Harbor Light, which is actually the home and studio for the artist NC Wyeth:
Also, the Whitehead Harbor Light:
Also, the Two Bush Island Light:
Tomorrow, we are headed just down the road to Lincolnville, to catch the car ferry to Islesford Island, for a few hours, and to get a lighthouse stamp as well.
