Safe and a bit faster trip back to Florida!

Left Greenwood pretty close to right after my last class, at about 1004, and pulled into Coquina 6 hours and 30 minutes later with a fuel stop, 2 potty/doggie pee stops, and a McDonald's eat and run.  We changed up the routing to the 121 down to 16, which bypasses the Augusta traffic issues.
Total miles, 316.3  Total time driving:  5 hours 55 min. Total time, 6:30.  Average speed 63 mph. Can you tell Bette drove the whole way?

Glad to be back home, but it was severely chilly and rainy today-  High only about 42 or 43, but no icing and no snow.  Supposed to be back in the 70's for our camping weekend.

Went to the Honda dealer today and had a $265 dollar oil change...  turns out the alignment was bad, and we had to have the tires balanced again.  Plus we were a little behind on a transmission flush and refill, plus the oil change and rotation.   All good as new now, with 40,400 miles on the little Fit already.

Got a bad scare from the State of SC this morning, when I went and picked up the mail from the last 3 weeks, I had a bill indicating we owed 3400 of a 3800 bill from the dentist for my new 3 tooth bridge from 3 weeks ago. Turns out after I called, that they don't pay until AFTER the permanent is installed, which will be next week.  Whew.

Leaving Friday morning for a spot downstate a bit to join our pals Walt and Char for a 3 day camping trip- they belong to some sort of camping club, and we were allowed to visit- may join up with them too, if we pass muster.  Hopefully the weather will cooperate, Looks like a planned good time, potlucks, bingo, Super Bowl stuff, and such.

Totally satisfied with my MEDA 343 class, although it will be very labor intensive.  Great bunch of kids.
