Campground site move

I earlier mentioned that we couldn't park our car on our 40 foot pad- so we were able to move to a new site, so we can now park the car.  Turns out Bette had parked us on the wrong site to begin with-  and the park is sold out.  Anyway, we are nicely set up, good tv, good electric, good water.

After we got re set up I headed over to the Fort Pickens Visitor Center for the park, and got 5 pins and 5 hiking medallions, and postcards and 2 sets of Civil War Trading cards!  Interesting fort-

Had a couple of signs that told you the story of what happened here, the fort was originally opened in 1834.
The forts were hand built by slaves.  Lots of work.

Because of the stupid sequestration, several of the locations for this park are either closed, or have greatly reduced hours-  I visited all I could do today-  One site will not be available during the visit-  it's not staffed anymore.   Tomorrow, I'm going to head on over to Ft Barrancas, then Monday, over to Naval Live Oaks.

Still have to figure out how to get to the Pensacola Blue Wahoos for a ball and pin.
