Very nice and easy trip back to St Augustine today- 365 miles, just over 7 hours, with one fuel/lunch stop.
We started out with a nice family breakfast at Cracker Barrel, then we hitched up and headed out right at 9 am
Pulled into Las Brisas Place at about 415, and by 510, we were pretty much unloaded, which is pretty good for a 6 month trip-
Then, we parked the coach in the storage area, and set it up for long term storage, then back to the house to go over mail, and start the detail unpacking, its now 10 pm, and we're about done- far enough along to call it a day-
Then back to the Florida routine tomorrow- coffee club for me first thing, shopping for Bette, then more unpacking, sorting, and deciding what to do with the new pins and other things we collected on the trip, Bette has to sort through her craft stuff, and so forth, probably take several days for that to sort itself out.
We are of course saddened by the fact that our beloved next door neighbors Ralph and Nancy have "graduated" to an assisted care facility in Jacksonville- that is sad for us indeed, but at least they are fairly close.
Also have great news with our pals Dan and Kippy, and we will all be getting together Friday for lunch bunch to celebrate that good news.
First big project for the house will be a resdesign of the "river room", to figure out what to do about my baseball collection, which is now getting fairly large, the pin collection, which is now nearing 700 or so pins, and my other little collections- we've got too much furniture out here, so have to noodle that out.
Bette has at least a week in the garage getting her crafty stuff back in order, and setting up for the new stuff she is now doing.
Also have some chores to do- tires are messed up on the Honda, got a leak in one tire, and may have to get a new one there, we have a daggone sat tv problem here at the house, with our 3 receivers, not sure what that is about, Have to cancel our appointment down at Alliance for coach repairs, since the coach fixed itself, and we got the Sat tv in the coach fixed, and whatever else pops up.
