Money out the door.....

It doesn't end....

We've had an ongoing issue with a lighted sensor indicating low tire pressure in one of our tires, so when we checked in Greenwood, we were told we needed 4 new tires, because of an alignment problem- Right. 

We aired up , and got to St Augustine, and on the list today was to get to the Honda dealership today to check out the tire situation and get a second opinion.

That would be a net of 4 new tires.  The one bad one on the left rear had a hole in the sidewall = replace.  The front two were worn terribly due to toe in from an alignment issue, = replace those 2.   Replacing 3?  Have to replace the 4th.  We did get a tire for the garage out of it, plus and alignment job- it was out by almost 20 degrees.  All this with 19,200 miles on the car (well, plus lots of towing miles) and the fact that we had just had them rotated and looked at a couple of thousand miles ago-  Out the door= 630 dollars. 

Then, when we got back, none of the TV's in the house would receive Direct TV-  Out comes the TV guy this morning, and our box is bad outside-  = about 200 to fix that.

On the fun side, I redid the pin collection yesterday, and now have mounted the 100 or so pins from this years trip- 

This is the baseball collection, the major league sites we've been on are in the top case, (22 out of 30) and the minor league teams are on the bottom-  100 of those sites. 

This is the National Parks collection- up to 249 parks now, plus some trails, etc etc.

Last thing left is to mount my hiking staff medallions-  work on that as time permits.....

Bette just got back from mah jong-  yes, we are back to the Florida routine-  Big controversy with the staff while we were gone, two people are gone, rock on.
