Terrific day at Moosehead Lake....

Moosehead Lake is one of the bigger lakes in Maine, 40 Miles long, and it is a beauty.   We visited with the Coles at their place right on the lake at Lily Bay Maine, which is a beautiful property right on the lake-  It has been in Steve"s  family since the 40's, and they have developed it beautifully.

Their place is right at the Lily Bay designation on the map.  We got out and drove around several scenic places overlooking the lake today, and also a special place that I will do a seperate post about.

This place rivals Lake Winnepasauke for beauty-  Steve said the lake freezes to a depth of 36 inches plus during the winter- brrrrr.
