Day 28- Terlingua Local and dipped my toe in Big Bend

After we got in and set up, I headed on over to Big Bend and got to the Castolon Visitor Center, and got two stamps there.  It was in the remote part of the park, and also one of the more scenic parts, lots of big mountains. 

The VC is in the lower left hand corner of the picture.  Today, we're going to get to three of the other four visitor centers. 

We also managed to get into Terlingua Ghost Town and stopped for a visit at the Terlingua Trading Company, which is local famous as a gathering spot-  I had known about it before, and it was worth the visit-  The feature other than the characters that hang out there, is the long front porch, where you sit and contemplate the view-

Tonight, we may join a group from the campground that is going into a pizza place in town.
