Day 28- Terlingua Texas and Big Bend

This morning, we "slept in" until 0815 had a nice in house breakfast, and then 110 miles down back country Texas two lanes down to Alpine and Terlingua Texas.

We are at BJ's RV park, which is, well, charming.  It is a reclaimed spot of desert, but it has a brand new owner, and spiffy new 50 amp power pedestals, good water pressure, and a neat-o honor laundry in the "community building."

Our spot-  full hook up, $25.00

"The community Building- showers and the laundry- which is on the honor system.
Om the way down, we stopped in at Alpine, Tx, to see if I could get a ball and pin from the Alpine Cowboys, who play in the Pecos league, but no one was home.
I'm going to go over and do about half of Big Bend National Park and Rio Grande Scenic River today, and Bette is going to do laundry.  We'll do the other half of the park tomorrow.

So jealous that you're in Terlingua. We completely fell in love with that quirky place! Have fun.
