Pretty much have the Ohio trip all set: First stop is Atlanta, for a revisit with my brother Dan, who is recovering from a long hospital stay, then to Chattanooga /Shipps RV to have a door seal put in and some other minor fixes to the coach, then to Tenn., to visit the Obed National Scenic River and Big South Fork National Park Sites, then to Wilmington Ohio north of Cincinnati for 4 days to visit several National Park Sites, then to Berlin Ohio, to see Kippy and Dan and see Aunt Skip, and do National Parks, then down to Beckley West Virginia for National Park activities, then to Advance NC to see one of Bette's friends, then we'll stop at Greenwood for a day or so, then finally head back down to St Augustine. Target date for Florida is around 25 September. We leave Greenwood on 6 September.
Hoping and imagining we might see a bit of fallish weather for a change, its been in the mid to upper 90's the entire visit to SC so far.
We of course are keeping a weather eye out for the Hurricane that is headed to Florida and maybe to SC, although just now it's looking like we might not get a big hit, but we sure do need the rain.
Heading over to Lander this afternoon for training meetings on our new Blackboard software package, then picking the boys up from school, then Cooper has soccer practice. Tony is off to Galax Va for a meeting for a day or so.
Thursday and Friday I have faculty meetings - and then the storm is supposed to be around during the weekend.
