When we left I-84, we had a narrow two lane road for several miles, and then, the GPS wanted to put us on a gravel road for 22 miles.... NOT. We decided to go ahead and go up to Malta, Idaho, and then over and down back to Almo. Nice flat roads through pretty valleys.. The Campground is beautiful. Fully paved, level, full sat and phone reception, 50 amp, water, and no body here! Talk about quiet.....
Buster decided he wanted his picture taken at the visitors center for City of Rocks National Preserve, so he did...
We pretty much took it easy yesterday, Brandon and I went on a long walk on an equestrial trail, and then we went out to a very nice dinner at one of the two places in the town of Almo to eat......
Today, we're going to do the driving tour of the park, and at 1 pm, Brandon got signed up for rockclimbing! The guide is a very nice young lady, so he should have a great time. I have to go along, and if it isn't too strenuous, I may strap in the gear and show him up.
The weather is a little threatening, passing rain showers, and scattered clouds, temp around 58 as I write this at 0930.
We began a new week for license plates, we had a good week of sightings last week.
Missing most of the East Coast again Still got 42 states..... Now we have Brandon as another set of eyes.
Tomorrow, we're heading up and over to Craters of the Moon National Park and Preserve, plan to stay a couple of days, but may change that, and stay only a day.
