Sunday June 12th- The prettiest drive so far up to Kamiah Idaho

We left McCall this morning about 8 or so in the rain, and headed up the road for a 128 mile trip to our spot for the next three days, Kamiah, Idaho.
By far, this was the most scenic drive we've had on the trip so far.  We followed the Salmon River for most of the trip, along deep valleys, and also had a 12 mile ascent on 10-15 degree angles up the White Bird Summit, and it was just WOW!  Here's a sample of what we saw:

We weren't aware that we would loose an hour by entering the Pacific Time Zone, thus we arrived at noon,  at our home for the next three days, the Lewis/Clark Resort, which is an RPI.  They have had quite a bit of rain here the last week, so the grounds were very wet, actually muddy, so we were placed on the front row.  We picked a site, but no Sat, which wasn't good, so we asked for another, site 8, and we did get full sat, we have good wifi, but only 30 amp.  It was actually very hot today, 85 as I type this at 530.  Since we only have 30 amp, we can't run but one AC, and can't run it while we cook, so its alsom 85 inside the coach right now...  maybe we won't have to run the heater tonight!

Tomorrow, we have a multi-stop trip planned, we'll head on over to Clarkston, Washington, and also Lewiston, Spalding, and Orofino Idaho.

The main visitation site tomorrow will be the Nez Perce National Park at Spalding.

Jim Bob,
Love your reports. Keep it up. Do you have any idea what is going on with NTPC site?
