Got up early early today, and we were ready to have the coach generator serviced at Cummins Rocky Mountain, which called for the coach at 8 am. We went over to McDonalds where Brandon wolfed down a big breakfast, and then the coach was ready at 10. We scored a pair of very nice free t shirts from the Dealership, and got a pin too. Thanks guys.. Nothing bad to report for the generator, it is none the worse for wear, and is all spiffed up with an oil change, filter change, blah blah blah.
On a whim, we decided to stop in at Camping World to look at motor homes... just for fun. We actually saw a couple of used ones that were pretty nice, but we passed on any serious negotiation. We may look again up in Missoula at Bretz.
We headed about 130 miles up the road to our current stop, Ponderosa State Park- which is a beautiful park right on the Lake here. Our spot is a little tight, but its fine. We have 30 amp and water, no sewer, and are deep in the trees, so no sat. Phone is ok.
Mc Call is a resort town, so we're looking forward to checking out the town tomorrow while Bette does a big laundry load..
The drive up here was the prettiest we've had just about so far for scenery.. we followed the Payette river for most of the trip, and it was gorgeous. Lots of fast running rapids for miles and miles...
Since Brandon was riding shotgun, we didn't get many photos....
Just as we hit town, we ran into rain showers, and the locals say it supposed to rain all tonight and tomorrow... Low tonight supposed to be in lower 40's... Ugh.
Nothing planned tomorrow, just shopping downtown. Bette has a weeks worth of laundry to do, so we'll give her moral support for that!
