Today was the last straw with these people. We had to call, since they don't want to call with updates, fully expecting to be told our coach was ready for pick up. They've had the coach for 2 months now, with the last 2 items being the ladder replacement and the taillight lens replacement.
Today, Bette was told that we would now have to wait 8 weeks for a new ladder to come in, since Gulfstream would have to make up one. This is after we were told that they had an aftermarket ladder that was going to be ok to use instead of the GulfStream one.
I exploded, and told them that I would be there in a half an hour and that they had better have my old ladder put back on , and I was picking the coach up- Was told no problem.
When I got to CW, I went straight to the General Manager to report my disgust and anger. Well, the anger took over, and after he kept saying tell me the problem, so I can fix it, I just lost it. We wound up shouting at each other, and I told him to just give me my damn coach. Well, it turns out they didn't have the ladder either, it had been thrown away.
Now, I'm purple with rage. Bette is telling me to calm down, but it's just not possible.
He didn't want to respond to the fact that they have lied to me, all he could say was they screwed up.
He said he will get me a ladder, just give me a chance, but I can't fix it until tomorrow. I said your move. Then stormed out of his office. Nothing he said was going to make the situation better.
When I got back to the house, I called my contact at GS and he said sure, I can get you one, where do you want me to send it? So I called the GM back and told him that a ladder would be at his front door in a couple of days, to which he said, well, I called and left a message with Gulf Stream..
to which I said, your ladder will be there in three days. I left off the you freaking so and so part. This is after I had been told GS would not ship to them because they were not a dealer.
I am never, never, never darkening the doorway of a Camping World again, ever. I just can't believe or accept the number of untruths, lies, and total lack of customer service from this place. Done.
Now I feel better. Well, I will after my coach is back.
