After going 3 weeks with no word, I've gotten two calls this week from Camping World, both contradictory, both changing the story- and still no coach yet. Today, I learned that they are not installing a GulfStream ladder, they've decided after two months they can't get one, blaming GS for the problem- and today, the claim was that the tail light lens arrived, but arrived broken. This is 6 weeks after we were told the parts were to arrive in three days. The repair fellow was optimistic that the coach may be back by the weekend.
When we get it back, we have a 5 day trip loosely planned, down to the east coast through Orlando, Bradenton/Sarasota, to do baseball locations and De Soto NP, then down to Pt Charlotte and Fort Meyers, then over 41, picking up Grand Cypress and Everglades NParks, then over to Homestead to get Biscayne NP, then up to Ft Lauderdale/Jupiter area for baseball parks, then Vieria for baseball, then stop by Canaveral National Seashore on the way back to St Augustine. Not sure when we'll finally go, have to get the coach back first.
In January, we'll be over to St Pete/Clearwater/Tampa/Dunedin area to see Aunt Skip as she is planning to arrive about then, and see baseball locations in that area.
December's trip will be back to Greenwood for Christmas holidays, and also to the Augusta Georgia area for National Heritage stuff, and also Edgefield SC, and maybe Camden- discovered there is an affiliate NP there, that has to do with the Revolutionary War.
