| Folk Art Center, 2 miles down the road |
Got through Asheville in good order, dropped the car at a mini mall, and headed a couple of miles up the road to the Visitors Center for the Blue Ridge Parkway- Beautiful newer building, watched a 22 minute video, very well done, that talked about the impact of the road, how it was built, and the impact of the arts and craft scene in the Southern Highlands. Terrific visit, got my requisite pins, patches, and postcards.
