It is undeniable- the strong pull seeing our grandsons has on us. Makes us do crazy things. Like drive for 17 hours and 662 miles, stop in a rest area only 102 miles from Greenwood at 1230 at night, sleep 3 hours, and start for home at 0400 after fueling up at the Flying J!!! Rolled in to Saddle Hill at 0630 or so. Everyone is still sleeping next door, we are slowly unpacking and in need of a long hot shower. Suspect we will head out for breakfast at a reasonable time. Tina hasn't been feeling very well lately, so that's another reason we're glad to get to Greenwood. Saw 39 state plates in two or so days of driving- missed the usual ones. Tina and the boys had the apartment all cleaned up nicely, so it's good to be in our Carolina Home.
