Took off at 7:30 this morning from Somerset NJ, ran into some significant rain, then stopped at Greensburg, PA. for lunch with our Maine Pals the Ritzes. Will post photos later of that stop. Thanks you guys, great to see you!
We've seen two wrecks, one fairly bad, which involved two cars very much on fire- just got a glimpse of them, ambulance leaving scene. Have photos of that also.....
Rain moderated temps today, it is 77 just now. We think we'll drive until maybe the NC state line or so, then be at Greenwood by lunchtime tomorrow. Seeing the grandsons is always a strong pull for us, it seems. At the I-81/I-77 split as I type.
