On our way downtown this morning, we stooped in at Chucalissa Monument, which is a part of the University of Memphis campus. They have some original Native American mounds here, which date back a long way. They had a movie we watched, but before we could tour the museum, they had some sort of problem, and smoke began to fill the building, so they asked us politely to leave. We sure did! Got a postcard before we had to leave. Then on to downtown.

I'm so sorry that you weren't able to tour our facilities! We did have a small issue with our air conditioning unit, but all is now well here at Chucalissa. Please let us know if you ever come back down this way, we would love to have you back for a free tour!
