2 Parks today!

Today was a hot day, but a productive day for parks, we did 2, Chicamauga at Ft. Oglethorpe, Ga., and Lookout Mountain NBattlefield at Lookout Mountain, over Chattanooga, Tn.  These two parks tell the story of the key battle of Chattanooga, a major supply and railroad depot prized by both the North and the South and the site of a fairly major battle towards the end of the war.  From here, Sherman began his "March to the Sea," which pretty well trashed a lot of Georgia.

Hey Jim and Bette,

Paige and I went to Chickamagua Battlefield when we came to visit you back in 1998. When are you motor homing down under?

Paige read lots of books while I went to all the battlefields and swapped patches at police stations.

It sounds like you're having a great adventure.
