Right on schedule, a rain shower breezed on through about 1130 this morning, and now at 3 pm, it's overcast, but no drops falling. Good rain, though, knocked off all the pollen that had accumulated on the car and the motor home, and seems to have cleansed the air of the nasty smoke pall we had yesterday from the big fires in Quebec. So a good thing. Didn't rain on the Holiday weekend, so all the merchants are happy, and I presume all the Massachusetts residents are happy to.
Today, we drove up to upper Saco to look at some park model residences, they are very nice- Seem to be in the 34-60 thousand dollar range, with our without lofts for grandchildren to come or not come to visit. Might look into that as an alternative to motorhoming one day.
We also went back to what is becoming our favorite lunch place, the Blue Elephant for lunch, then stopped at Hannaford's for provisions.
Got the word early this morning that Brandon is safely home from his 8th grade trip to Washington DC- He said the Smithsonian and the Capitol were his two favorite things on the trip.
Will be crashing soon, then tomorrow is pack up and laundry day, prior to our little trip down to Sturbridge Mass on Thursday.
