

We headed the 20 miles or so over to the coast to Plymouth Mass, the site of the original landing of the Pilgrims in America in 1620. I had been here when I was 6 or 7 years old, and do remember my visit, even though it was 56 years ago!!!! What I remember most, is how small the monument was, as you can see in the photo above- It's tiny for sure. The rock itself bummed Bette out, she kept thinking it was a really big rock, but sadly, it's not much more than about 8 feet across and maybe 5 feet high. Oh well, it is what it is. It was a totally beautiful morning, nippy, but sunshiny for our visit. We got several usual goodies, 2 pins, postcards, a boat for the boat collection, and a sno globe for a special buddy.
