While we were sitting at a Mall today eating a Subway lunch, Bette and I got to talking about trip stuff, and we have now decided to change for the 27th time. Our grandson Dalton is scheduled to graduate from Parris Island on July 17th. With this in mind, we now think that starting July 8th, we'll work our way down to Beaufort, including three days already planned for New Jersey to do visits and chores. A benefit of this is that we can pick up our grandson Cooper, who has agreed to join us, to head on over towards Memphis Tenn. area, where we had already planned to stay from 28 July to 9 August. That will give us a week to get Cooper back to Greenwood in time for school, which starts 16 August. Then we have 2 weeks to fill before we head on up to Ohio to see Aunt Skip. We've decided that we'll do this in the car, leaving the motor home in Greenwood for the trip, which will be a week or so, then we'll head back down to Greenwood, pick up the motor home and head to St Augustine, around the middle of September.
I'll fill in the details when I get through with detail planning, which is next.....
