The Red Sox won last night, 7-6. It was ugly, but it was a win. Almost a sell out, even though the Bruins were in the finals at the Garden, which they lost. Easy train ride down, massive body smash on the T on over to Fenway, short walk to the stadium. It was windy and 55 they said at gametime, probably dropped to 45 by the time we left, at the bottom of the 8th, after Neil Diamond sang Sweet Caroline, which is the real reason Hartman went to the game, I suspect. He is such a tourist! Found our way back to the T in good order, then got home late, for some reason, the trains don't run close at all to schedule up here. We were late getting in also.
Temps are supposed to warm some today, a good thing. There was frost on the car when we went to pick it up last night....
Today, we'll start at 12, then head to Kennebunkport to see the Bushes, I guess, and more shop hopping. Tomorrow, maybe either Portsmouth or Portland.
