We picked up the Hartmans at 1200, drove up to Kennebunk, ate at Subway, then to a quilt shop that was pretty much a bust, then out to coastline drive, and we did see one of the two lighhouses we were looking for.... Then an ice cream stop, and a milk and cereal stop, then back to the rooms to rest, then out to dinner. Turned out to totally be the worst dining experience in 20 years for Bette and I, not much better for the Hartmans. Won't go into details, just a complete and utter bad deal. Won't ever be going back (the Hayloft.) Early bedtime tonight all are tired, tomorrow looks like Portsmouth to really do the shops and then maybe Ogonquit on the way back. The harbor cruise isn't running except for the weekends, turns out.
