The sun sets on 2009

As years go, it wasn't a bad one for us. We had lots of good motorhome time, met lots of good and interesting folks, spent a quality summer with our 9 year old grandson, and in perhaps the biggest development, became Floridians.

Our health was generally good, except for some weight gain for me, and the outlook on that score seems to be in good order.

2010 holds the promise of perhaps our best post retirement year, with lots of planned activities for practically each month... the highlight being the arrival from Australia of our pals the Hartmans in April, followed by a trip up to Maine, then a planned 4/5 month tour of the northern tier states, then back home to Florida by no later than October 1 this time. We've also got a trip out to California booked for the first week of March.

Now, if the rest of the world doesn't go to hell in a handbasket, we should have one of the better years ever- we are certainly hoping for it.

Thanks to the family members, readers and followers of our little blog for being along last year, and we hope you enjoy our commentary and photos this year.

Happy 2010.
