Well. We called in to GulfStream at 4 or so this afternoon, and we have our answers for the leaks. It seems that during construction, the builder used 3/4 inch self tapping screws to attach the cap to the roof, instead of 1 and 3/4 inch screws that were called for. To put in layman's terms, the roof has basically never had a chance to not leak, since it was never properly sealed. We've been told that they are going to rebuild, reseal, and repaint the roof to make it right. They are covering the repairs as a structure issue. We are having dinner tonight with the Schmidts, and are planning just now to return to Nappanee tomorrow to hang out and wait for the coach. We hear that Shipshewana IN. is pretty cool.
As of now, GulfStream is saying best case Saturday morning, worst case Tuesday for picking up the coach. Not sure why there is such a spread, but that's what we know as of now.
